Picture yourself in front of The Great Pyramid, exploring the colourful Bazaar of Cairo and taking in the treasures of the Egyptian Museum. Combine all this with awesome diving on the famous sites of the Red Sea – it just doesn’t get any better than this. Join us on this fantastic 10 day liveaboard journey to the Southern Red Sea aboard the “MY Emperor Elite”.
Itinerary:
- March 21 – Depart from Calgary via Europe to Cairo
- March 22 – Arrival in Cairo. We will be transferred to our hotel located on the famous Nile River.
- March 23 – Full day sightseeing Cairo including the Pyramids & Sphinx, Egyptian Museum and the colourful Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
- March 24 – Return to the airport for our flight to Hurghada on the shores of the Red Sea. We will be met by Emperor Divers and transferred to the Port of Marsa Ghalib to board our liveaboard vessel for the week. Overnight in port.
- March 25 – April 1
We’re in for a treat. We will enjoy 8 full days of stunning wall diving, pinnacles, wrecks, remote reefs. They attract a diverse array of marine species and large pelagics. Large tuna, Jacks and Snappers cruise in the blue, accompanied by the occasional Hammerheads, Silvertips, Silky and Oceanic White Tip Sharks, Grey Reef Sharks and Mantas. We will enjoy 3 – 4 dives per day
- April 2 – After 2 morning dives return to port. We will spend the night either on the boat or in the base hotel.
- April 3 – After check-out transfer back to Hurghada for an evening flight to Cairo. Transfer to airport hotel.
- April 4 – Time to fly home!
